Brief Focus Loss

I’ve noticed this past week that I’ve done horrible with paying attention to my body.  I believe I got caught up in the concept of “legalizing” foods that I began eating for taste instead of paying attention to my body and eating only when it’s asking for fuel.  The daily scale numbers have only supported that thought.  My 1.5 lb average reduction stalled out completely and even included a gain.

 I know that Intuitive Eaters aren’t supposed to pay much attention to that…that they should be learning to accept these things.  But I refuse to.  Reducing this weight is very important to me.  Don’t worry though, I’m still not going to go on a diet.   But I will go back to the lifestyle dietary change I had begun with:  insisting on 2 servings of fruits/vegetables per meal.  And resuming focus on eating only when my body is asking for fuel.

I have to remember, food is for fuel, period.
